Poker room Pokerstars announces the launch of a series of tournaments in the post-Soviet space under the name Russian Poker Series... RPS buy-in fees will not exceed € 2,500, thus allowing more players to take part in the tournament series.
The director of the PokerStars Russian Poker Series will be Dmitry Ganin, who has similar experience at poker events not only at Russian, but also at European level.
Qualifying satellites for the first season of the Russian Poker Series will start on April 1, 2010 at Pokerstars.

August 7-11, 2010 - Riga, Latvia)
October 10-17, 2010 - Tbilisi, Georgia)
October 31 - November 7, 2010 - Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) - Grand Final
At the first stage of the RPS, in Almaty, the main event will have a guaranteed prize pool of $400'000. At the end of the year, in Sharm el Sheikh, the RPS Grand Final will take place.
Also, several Russian Poker Series tournaments will be combined with major international poker events such as the European Poker Tour (EPT) and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT).
