Officials this week Caesars Entertainment published the schedule World Series of Poker 2011... The series will feature 58 WSOP bracelets. The main novelty of the series - $25'000 Heads-Up NLHE Championship - a new tournament that will bring together the best 256 players from around the world. It will not do without the tournament already liked by all players $50'000 Player's Championship.
The second novelty of the series - $2'500 Ten-Game Six-Handedwhich starts on Thursday 16 June. A very interesting tournament that will reveal the best of the best expert in poker.
The poker community was greatly displeased by the fact that the organizers placed the next day after the Event #4: $5,000 NLHE, which starts on Thursday, July 2 - Event #7: $10,000 PLHE Championship, which starts on Friday, July 3.
Many players would like to take part in both tournaments, but the organizers referred to last year's experience and change the schedule, at least not yet.
The 2011 Main Event of the World Series of Poker will kick off on July 7th with four starting days and run until July 19th for the final table that will be played in November - the so-called "November Nine".
Pre-registration for the Main Event will open on February 7th.
