27 year old Allan "Sifosis" Baekke becomes the champion of the first EPT Snowfest in the Austrian Alps, and the owner of € 445'000. The main event of the European Poker Tour with € 3'750 buy-in held in Austria, in the Alpine Palace, gathered 546 players from 48 countries. Max Lykov, now the absolute leader of the EPT Player of the Year, unfortunately didn't make it to the final table and left the tournament in 13th place. Two Belarusians also got into the prizes - Vadim Markushevski (28) and Nadzeya Hundoryna (79).
