Interesting facts about the past WSOP 2005

The greatest event in the poker world has ended - WSOP 2005... But few people know how many interesting facts happened during the preparation and conduct of this event. CASINOgames magazine has published a whole list of facts, some of which are simply shocking.

• This is the 36th WSOP event to break all records. The prize pool of the main no-limit poker tournament was $52,818,610. It was attended by 5619 people.

• Joseph Hashim is Lebanese by birth and now lives in Australia. Has been playing poker professionally for over 10 years. In Australia, there is now a real psychosis - Hashim has become a national hero.
