2006 WSOP is coming

Every summer in Las Vegas passes World Series of Poker (WSOP). This summer will be no exception. The first WSOP 2006 will kick off on June 26th. All in all, the 2006 World Series of Poker will host 45 tournaments in various variations of popular games - Texas Holdem, Omaha, Seven Card.

New to the WSOP is the HORSE tournament with 50'000$ entry entry. This tournament will be the most difficult, since in order to perform successfully in it you need to know the intricacies of games such as Texas Holdem, Omaha, Razzz, Stud.

The essence of the tournament is that the game will change with the change of the blinds. Those. the first level of blinds everyone plays Texas Hold'em, as soon as the blinds go up everyone will be playing Omaha and so on. Moreover, all games until the final table will be limited. But already at the final table they will play No Limit Texas Holdem.

This year, the organizers of the World Series of Poker are expecting about 8 thousand participants to the main tournament - No Limit Texas Holdem with an entry fee of 10'000$. And the prize for first place, they predict, will reach ten million dollars. The main event kicks off on July 28th and the final table will be played on the last day of the 2006 WSOP - August 10th. It is on the final day that everyone will recognize the new poker world champion.
