Winners are stripped of their winnings

Two weeks ago a player with a nickname JJProdigy won $140'000 at a major tournament held in the online poker room Party Poker... Soon after his victory, a scandal erupted. JJProdigy was alleged to have played the tournament under multiple accounts. Using the rules that allow a player to open only one account, $180'000 was confiscated from JJProdigy from his two accounts.

After this scandal, Party Poker started checking all of its pro players, and it was successful. Professional online player - Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomohaving finished second, won $110'000 at a major tournament. As it turned out during the verification, he registered for this tournament with six of his accounts (ZeeJustin, IBLUFFUOUT69, jwilson55, vapoker58, mehsab, greenb272).

Unlike his "colleague" ZeeJustin'a $100'000 was confiscated, and in addition, all of his accounts were closed.

To justify several of his open accounts, Justin said that he did this so that he could not be recognized when he is playing SnG. Due to the fact that his style is already known to many, he decided to open several accounts.

The public's mind tends to have two points of view on this matter. The first is associated with an increase in the chances of entering paid places in the tournament from several accounts. The second is the use of "chip dumping" (special playing of chips) to increase the stack - which Justin denies.

It would seem that everything is revealed and everyone is punished, but ... Lee jones, manager Poker Stars stated that after this scandal they conducted their own investigation, and found that ZeeJustin has several accounts, and he also registered at the same time with them for one tournament. All his accounts were closed, and the money was confiscated, although the amount was not named.

We'll just remind you that ZeeJustin in December last year won $136,920, placing first in the tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $500'000 in the online poker room Poker Stars.

Lee Jones also stated that all confiscated money will be distributed to players who have suffered as a result of these violations by ZeeJustin's wasps.
