Tournament #6: No Limit Texas Hold'em Through

This is a special poker format in which a maximum of 6 players can sit at the tables. The short-handed games are very aggressive. The winner was Isaac Galazan from Bangkok, Thailand with 315,125$ for first place.

Tournament #7: No Limit Texas Hold'em with additional purchase

This is the first tournament where additional chip purchases are possible. The games in this tournament are very loose, as the losing players are entitled to receive chips for an additional fee and continue to participate in the tournament. Mike Gracz won 594.460$ for first place.

Tournament #8: Seven Card Stud

Date: June 11th

Paid seats: top 40

Despite the fact that it is not as popular as Texas Hold'em, there were still people willing to take part in this type of poker. The best of them was Cliff Josephy with 192.150$.

Tournament #9: No Limit Texas Hold'em

General fund with contributions: 2,806,000$
Total prize fund: 2,581,520$
Paid seats: top 140

The version of this tournament has been repeating for the second week due to its popularity, and therefore, those who did not succeed the first time had a second chance, which Erik Seidel used to take first place and thereby win 611,795$.

Tournament #10: Limited Texas Hold'em

The second tournament, which repeats from the first week. In this tournament, it is more difficult to bluff and also more difficult to defend a good hand. Reza Payvar became the winner and holder of 303.160$.

Tournament #11: Pot Limit Texas Hold'em

The third tournament, which is repeated from last week. The winner was Steven Hudak and won 125,000$.

The attendance of the tournaments is quite impressive. Previously, it was impossible to believe that as many as 5,000 participants would dare to take part in the most important tournament - No Limit Texas Hold'em with a buy-in of 10,000$. Now, based on the attendance over the past two weeks, some pundits are suggesting that the most important event in the World Series of Poker will have around 7,000 participants, resulting in an incredible total pool of $ 7 million in installments that would be unheard of in the WSOP.
