Bartender Guillaume humbert planned to take part last summer in Las Vegas at the WSOP but attended the WSOPE instead Cannes. And he was right by winning the first tournament of the series WSOPE 2011 — € 2'500 6-Max No Limit Hold'emwho brought him €215’999 prize money. The 26-year-old Swiss was better than 360 participants. In heads-up he beat Azusa maedathus depriving him of the opportunity to become the first Japanese to win a WSOP title.
Phil Hellmuth was very close to increasing his WSOP bracelet count to 12, but was eliminated on the bubble before the final table. The result is seventh place and € 24'183.
