Olivia "Liv" Boeree born in 1984 in the county England - Kent. She studied physics and astrophysics at the University of Manchester before moving to London. Her introduction to poker began with the television show UltimatePoker Showdown, which aired in 2005 on the Five Channel. Her trainers on the show were Phil Hellmuth and Annie duke.
After the show, Boeree fell in love with poker and started playing seriously. In parallel, she is also engaged in journalistic activities. The results in poker were not long in coming, and in 2008 she won her first tournament - Ladbrokes Poker European Ladies Championship... In addition to the title of champion, she received $30'000, as well as a package for the 2008 WSOP main event.
At the 2008 WSOP, she is in the prizes at two events: $2'000 Pot Limit Hold'em (49th) and $1'500 Limit / No Limit Hold'em (64th) Towards the end of the year, she takes 49th place in the main tournament 2008 UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic - $5'000 No Limit Hold'em.
Already at the beginning of 2009, Liv entered the final table of the A$1'100 No Limit Hold'em tournament held as part of the 2009 Aussie Millions Poker Championship... The brightest and most successful (at the time of this writing) was of course 2010, when Liv Boeree won a stage of the European Poker Tour - EPT San Remo... Her winnings amounted to £ 1'250'000.
