Men burst into the nightclub 24-Hour Clublocated in Bangor city. The club found 3 tables covered with chips and 30 people playing poker. 24-Hour Club did not have a license to conduct tournament card games, but was opened as a non-alcoholic club for people suffering from alcoholism.
In accordance with State Legislation, any gambling houses where rates exceed $1,000 are required to pay to the local budget per day at the rate of $5 per person.
The work of the club was stopped pending the decision of the local executive authorities.
