A resident of Hong Kong decided to play for $ 12 received from her grandmother as a present for the new year. By dropping them into one of the slot machines in Macau, she won $100'000.
The casus of this situation was that the lucky woman is a minor, and according to the laws of Hong Kong, minors are prohibited from appearing in the casino. At first, the Sands casino did not want to give money to the girl, citing the fact that she was a minor. The Bureau for the Inspection and Coordination of Gambling Activities of Macau forced the casino to issue a prize, however, not to the smallest lover of “one-armed bandits”, but to her mother, who, together with her grandmother, was with her daughter in the casino. As a result, the family budget was replenished by a decent amount. However, the Bureau forbade the girl's mother from visiting Macau casinos for bringing her underage daughter there.
