Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) - a popular poker series that takes place exclusively in the United States of America ( USA) and broadcast on television channels, in particular American. In 2005, the Heartland Poker Tour created two buddies - Greg lang and Todd anderson... They also came up with a slogan for their brainchild - "Real People, Unreal Money" ("Real people, unreal money"). Initially, the series was created specifically for TV, in order to become a popular television show. The first season consisted of only seven stages (for comparison, in the eighth season there will be 15 of them), each of which, as well as now, took place in different US cities. The winner of the very first stage, the first season of HPT was Judd greenagelwho won back in 2005 $27’600.

The entry fee for all HPT main events, each stage, is a fixed amount - $1'650.

In 2009, she signed an agreement with the non-profit organization “Disabled American Veterans"(DAV, American Veterans Union). One percent of each prize pool goes to support the DAV program.

In 2010, HPT has its own ambassador, which becomes Darvin moon, runner-up at the 2009 WSOP and has turned down all sponsorship offers at the final table.

As part of the eighth season Greg raymer won four stages to become the undisputed leader of the 2012 Heartland Poker Tour.

Significant changes are made in Season 9. The structure of the blinds becomes smoother as presented by a renowned professional Daniel Negreanu... And the beauty Maria Ho becomes a commentator. The final TV table becomes 9-max instead of 6-max.
