Martin Michael wins the PokerStars EPT London Main Event

Michael Martin managed to win the main tournament PokerStars EPT in London, for which he was generously rewarded. His prize money was exactly one million pounds sterling.

The young American managed to establish himself in a tense battle at the final table, where the finalists included two WSOP bracelet winners - Alan Smurfit and Frenchman Antony Lellouche. Both have made three European Poker Tour final tables this year.

At the start of the game, the final table formation looked like this:

Antony Lellouche became the first player to leave the final table (£ 81,569). He bet all-in with A-9, he was answered by Johannes Strassmann with hand K-J... K fell on the table-10-6-7-10, and the German took the bank.

However, this did not save him, as he had to leave next. Michael Martin bet all his chips on K-Qand Strassmann answered him with a pair of jacks. The flop came a queen for Michael and Strassmann was eliminated in 7th place (£ 120,723).

Alan Smurfit was forced to settle for 6th place after confronting his A-4 and J - J Michael Martin. The ace missed and Smurfit earned £ 153,351 for his 6th place.

Philippe D'Auteuil lost with 8-8 two kings Marcin Horecki and dropped out in 5th place (195,766 pounds sterling). Eric Liu J-10 followed him in 4th place, losing to Michael A-9 on board A-K-5-A-7.
