Russian athletes - two of them made it to the finals of the competition at once. Nonetheless, American John Juanda ended the day as the chip leader. Among the professionals who started yesterday, in addition to Juanda, were Daniel Negrenu, Erik Seidel, Mel Yudah, Mike Matusow and Andy Bloch, who later left the tournament in 24th place (28,960 pounds).<\/p>\n

Daniel Negreniu A-Q knocked out Brandon Adams K-Q in 17th place. Immediately thereafter, with a straight on the flop, he sent Justin Smith home in 16th place (\u00a3 36,200).<\/p>\n
Brian Townsend bet all his chips on A-8and Scott Fishman called with a pair of tens. Cards on the Q table-5-8-J-J identified 15th place for Brian (45 250$).

Stanislav Alekhin knocked out Soren Kongsgaard in 12th place (\u00a3 54,300). Kongsgaard, short stacked, went all in with A-7 and got a call from Alekhine, who was holding A-K... The following cards were dropped K-10-9-6-J and Soren Kongsgaard took off.<\/p>\n
Johnny Lodden said goodbye to the tournament in 11th place (\u00a3 54,300), and the last loser one step to the final table was Neff, who lost his stack to our Ivan Demidov.
