Despite the expectations of the organizers WPT World Championship<\/strong> collect a larger number of players than in the previous year, at the end of the application campaign it turned out that WPT World Championship 2008<\/strong> 535 people will take part, and the total prize fund will be 13,216,250. the winner of the tournament will receive $3,389,140. Compared to the prize pool of last year (15'000'000), there is a significant decrease in the rating of the tournament.<\/p>\n

On the second day of the competition, 335 players entered the fight. At the end of the game day, which ended only at 3 o'clock in the morning, the tournament was left \"\" Phil laak<\/em>, \"\" Allen cunningham<\/em>, \"\" Lee watkinson<\/em>, \"\" Brett faustman<\/em>... A total of 421 athletes made it to the second round, out of all those participating. The first 100 winners are awarded with prize money.<\/p>\n
