Famous online poker room - Poker Stars<\/strong><\/a> announced the start World Cup of Poker 2006<\/strong>, one of the most exciting competitions, as national teams take part in it. Each participating country is represented by five players. The game format is No Limit Texas Hold'em Heads-Up.<\/p>\n

This year, 46 teams from 39 countries of the world will take part, which will be divided into 8 groups of 6 in each. Until the 8 strongest teams are determined, the competition will be held online, in Poker Stars<\/strong><\/a>... Top 8 teams will go to \"\" Barcelona, where they will participate in the final stage and compete for 200'000$ + additional prizes.<\/p>\n

As for the formation of teams, it will look like this:
\n
- one player - the captain, appointed by the poker room administration;
\n
- two players based on TLB results for 2005;
\n
- two more will be able to qualify online for FPP.<\/p>\n
